Gina the Art Car Rebuild

Hi. Gina the art car is our wonderful pink piano art car that has been attending burning man since 2016 and bequinox since 2017.

We have never raised any money to get her together but she is starting to get a bit expensive - she is a Princess after all.

So if you have enjoyed Gina at one of the events we would love a small donation.

This year we had to do a lot of work to her as the musical note had rusted and had become unsafe. Whilst many people loved the musical note we have replaced it with a roof which will give our passengers shade in the daytime and focuses the audio from the sound system downwards. We’ve also simplified the fire systems for safety reasons. Eric, in our crew, has however created wonderful back lit LED panels to leave a few musical notes out there.

It’s all cost a lot more than planned - over $15k so we are trying to offset some of the costs.

Gina is named after Gina G a British one hit wonder with a song called ‘Ooh ah just a little bit’. The music and lyrics for the song are printed across the back of Gina.

Gina is just one of several fire art projects we run.
