Gina Peppers' NewStart Goal


Gina is the mother of Wes Peppers and Ashley Mass. She has 4 grandchildren: Logan, Charlie, Levi, and Liana. Gina was diagnosed with Stage 3a Squamous non-small  cell lung cancer in September of 2018.

She underwent her her first round of chemotherapy and radiation treatments in October/November of 2018. She has since been taking immunotherapy treatments. In March of 2019, she had a follow up scan that revealed the nodule has increased in size. She will be doing some follow up scans & appointments to determine the next steps, possibly more treatments. 

There are two back to back medical programs that would benefit her from July 4-August 1 of this year. Both are in Weimar, CA. We believe these will significantly strengthen her physically, mentally, and emotionally. They have done wonders for many other patients with circumstances similar to hers. 

The first is the Dr. Neil Nedley Depression Recovery Program. It is from July 4th-July 15th, 2019. This program is one of the few that uses lifestyle and prevention to treat depression and anxiety. It provides professional, licensed counseling that leads to mental,  emotional, and spiritual healing, which Gina is in need of. There are also medically approved lifestyle treatments that can be continued at home for helpful results. Gina will be under the personal care of Dr. Nedley and licensed health professionals during her stay. Dr. Nedley has received numerous awards for his simple yet very effective program and has successfully treated thousands of patients. The program has graciously given a nice scholarship, but we still need to raise some of the funding. The 2nd is the Newstart program (July 15-August 1), which helps patients develop positive lifestyle choices that build physical, emotional, and spiritual strength.  
It is a physician monitored, scientifically researched lifestyle program based on eight fundamental principles proven to help achieve optimum health: Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest and Trust. It is 3 weeks long. Gina will be under the personal care of licensed physicians and medical professionals during this time. Thousands of patients have witnessed their cancer slow down or go into remission following this program. Newstart has graciously given a nice scholarship, but we still need to raise some of the funding for here as well.  Here is the website that gives more information on Newstart: https://www.newstart.com

We are hoping to raise the amount for both programs by June 30th. She will travel on July 3rd and be in CA until the end of the programs on August 1. 

Most of all, please keep her in your prayers. Her spiritual healing is the most important element of her health, though we certainly do pray for physical healing as well.
