In October 2020, Gina Mooney suffered a massive stroke causing severe brain damage, which left her immobile and debilitated. Gina continued to make great strides toward recovery in the Seaview Nursing Home, such as regaining the ability to speak and breathe independently. Despite the hardships of COVID-19, her family was finally able to visit her in person after 5 long months. During one of her first visits, she was able to meet her newborn grandson, JJ. Gina looked forward to her weekly visits with her family. Although she showed optimistic improvement, we are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Gina on the evening of June 7th, 2022.

Gina's family was devastated by the sudden loss of their beloved wife and mother. Unfortunately, they were unprepared for her passing. With respect, any contributions that can be made to cover the funeral expenses are greatly appreciated.
