Gina Lawrence & Jennifer Phillips Support Fund
On Friday, March 19th, both Gina Lawrence
and Jennifer Phillips were involved in a very
serious accident in Los Angeles, California.
They were struck by a drunk driver in an SUV while they were standing on a sidewalk,
pinning them between the vehicle and a
building. Jennifer’s injuries include multiple broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and a broken leg.
Gina is being treated for a broken pelvis, hand, arm, and tailbone along with head lacerations, and abrasions.
They will be in L.A. for an extended amount of time requiring rehabilitation before they can
travel home. Currently, they each have family who have travelled to LA to support them. We are grateful they have these support people
that also provide us with updates back in Inchelium, while Gina and Jennifer go into surgery, rest, and gather their strength.
It is already clear that the medical costs will be staggering. This is in addition to the funds
needed to ensure their family members can
remain at their side throughout their hospital stay and rehabilitation process.
As it stands, we do not know how long this
process will be, we just know they will need
our support and prayers along the way.
