Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a hopeful spirit to ask for your help with my new cat, Gimpy. Recently, he was found by a good friend outside in the rain, huddled by a dumpster, clearly in need of help and love. Seeing this opportunity, my boyfriend and I picked up Gimpy immediately and began nursing him back to health. Our friend had informed us that he had dead nerves in one of his ears and that he was limping on his front paw. He was incredibly skinny, wet, and cold. We dried him off and heated the car up for him. He got tons of food and cuddles while we decided what to do with him.

A shelter isn't in our best interest just because he has made an impact on us in such a short amount of time, so we decided to help him ourselves. Our goal is to get enough money to repair his paw and ear. He also has been having blood spots when he uses the bathroom, so any internal bleeding or issues we want resolved immediately. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in giving this sweet, resilient boy a fresh start.
