Who We Are

Gimble A Cappella is recognizable for our tight-knit bond, eclectic musical interests and repertoire, and notable campus presence. Since our founding in 1997, Gimble has developed many cherished traditions, including "tour," where we road trip across the country to professionally record our music and deepen our bond as a group. This year we plan to visit Washington, D.C., Myrtle Beach, SC, and Charlotte, NC, over the course of nine days. It is a truly cherished experience for all members who have been able to attend; however, we need your help to make Tour 2023 happen.

We want to professionally record four songs in a studio in Washington, D.C., the first stop of our trip. Given the expenses that accompany this endeavor, including two days of studio time, hiring a sound engineer, mixing, mastering, and more, we need financial support to make this a reality. In 2017, Gimble released our first-ever EP, XX, which was met with great success and enthusiasm. Since then, we have recorded and released a five-song album, Home, in 2020, as well as eight singles, gaining over 75,000 streams collectively on Spotify. The opportunity to record in-studio is incredibly valuable to us, and we are eager to continue sharing our music in just a few weeks.

The Fundraiser

Being able to share the music we have worked so hard to create means the world to us, and we wouldn't have had success thus far without the help of our wonderful family, friends, and alumni.

That being said, recording, mixing, editing, and producing is an expensive process. While we are pooling in as much of our resources as we can through our concert ticket sales and multiple fundraisers on campus; we need YOUR help to make releasing our new songs a reality.
