Hi Gilroy Community,

I am here asking for the community's help!

The Gilroy Donut House, the Hok family, has once again endured the unimaginable. Soktea (Tia) has passed away. She is the mom to Jeffrey and wife to Sreng. She is the one who would bake all the delicious donuts we all have come to love here in Gilroy. Tia had a heart of gold. She also, along with Sreng and Jeffrey, has suffered through so much loss. When their daughter passed a few years back, Sreng needed a kidney transplant and received his daughter's kidney. I am asking the community of Gilroy if you could help in any way to alleviate what they are going through.

The family could use help with funeral expenses and the blessings to be able to close the donut shop for the funeral to say their goodbyes. Any donations are appreciated, whether buying donuts or donating to this fund.

Let's come together once again and show the Hoks that Gilroy truly does care for their family and business. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
