Gillian Chadwick-Watters was always  a fun-loving, free spirit who always enjoyed a good gathering with all of her friends. Gillian was caring and supportive to all of those she knew. She treasured and loved her family with all of her heart. Words that others have used to described Gillian include creative, inspirational, kind, selfless, a bright light, and a gentle soul. She holds a special place in the hearts of many.

The past nine months have been a rough ride for Gillian as she has been fighting a heroic battle against a rare form of cancer that attacked her lungs and liver. Through multiple treatments of chemotherapy and radiation, she always tried to keep a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She fought with bravery and dignity. Gillian spent all the time she could having good laughs with family and friends. The last few months Gillian was able to enjoy some of her many favorite things - camping, gatherings with friends, watching her son Leif run cross country with his  school team, and a visit to the beach with dear friends. She was fortunate to have visitors from her home country of England, including friends and family she had not seen in some time.

Sadly, on January 19,2016, Gillian lost her fight. She is now in peace and free from pain. Although we are all heartbroken to lose such an amazing person, we find comfort knowing she is watching over all of us. Gillian leaves behind her husband Jeff and 12 year old son Leif. Gillian will be missed by so many who were blessed to know her and have her in thier lives. She was one of a kind!

This campaign has been set up to assist Jeff and Leif with accrued medical costs and financial needs as a result of Gillian's battle with cancer. Any amount helps.
