Giles Fear, a much loved father, son, friend and generally just a good guy all round.
Sadly passed peacefully away from a short battle of cancer on the 15th May 2021, surrounded by family and friends.
Anyone who knew Giles appreciated he had a deep passion for bouldering and climbing. He was a regular indoor climber and on the odd occasion was even spotted climbing outdoors.
Giles had a natural talent to get along with anybody and everybody, which makes his passing even harder.
This GoFundMe page has been created to raise funds* for two memorial benches in Giles' name, which will be situated outside his two favourite climbing centres: Awesome Walls (Sheffield) and The Works (Sheffield).
Both benches will include an engraved inscription dedicated to Giles, with a little bit of an added surprise, in memory of Giles.
May Giles memory forever live on and I hope these memorial benches will help aid this.

If a massive amount of money is raised, then I will arrange one evening of "hot drinks are on Giles night" (Giles liked his cuppa tea mid training session).
