Gilbert Family Recovery Fund

On Thanksgiving morning, Jason Gilbert and his oldest daughter, Alexa Gilbert were severely injured in a tragic multi-car crash on the 405.

Alexa was returning home to spend time with her family for the holiday, after several flight delays, Jason picked Alexa up from LAX in the early morning hours on Thanksgiving. 

They are currently both in the ICU at two separate hospitals, in critical condition, but recovering well.

Alexa was rushed into emergency heart surgery due to damage from the accident and suffered from a collapsed lung as well as 9 broken bones. Jason suffered from multiple severe injuries that are currently being treated.

Jason is a single-father to 3 children in a single-income family and will need a lot of help as they both recover. Due to Alexas injuries she will be out of work and Jason will be unable to work temporarily as he recovers from his injuries.

All funds will go to recovery costs, medical bills, and to cover the cost of living for the family of four as they both recover.  As well as assisting with Alexas cost of living when she returns to university.
