Hi, my name is Anja, I'm asking for help for my family because my dad Gilbert has been in the hospital in Critical Care. This is our story...

 

Our 2022 started off with many many tears… and heavy hearts. Christmas and New Year's have been really painful times for my family and me. My family and I got really ill and did not celebrate holidays together. My dad had to be taken by an ambulance with very little oxygen in his lungs. He was fighting double pneumonia. He still tried to serve at church, do double shifts, and come home and serve his family. Not realizing he was fighting to breathe every minute. My dad is fully vaccinated and got a recent booster. These vaccines DO NOT guarantee not getting COVID/viruses/sickness. My family and I have not been able to see my dad since he was hospitalized. He’s been fighting to live! He’s been on a ventilator and sedated for many weeks.

 

God's grace has kept my dad. Prayers from all around the world have sustained my family as our faith has been challenged. We are trusting GOD to restore every organ and cover my dad as he rests. Stand with my family for my dad to come home healthier and stronger… our world was turned upside down in a matter of minutes, however, with loving family and friends we will get through this.❤️‍

 

This is a very humbling time for my family. My father has been the sole provider and we have a long journey for my dad's healing. Thank you!
