This is a very hard thing for me to do, to ask for help. As most of you know, I have been in a two-year custody battle that has financially bankrupted me. I am a single mother of two sons and one fur baby named Gilbert!!

On Sunday (7/20), we took him to the emergency vet for his eye. By Wednesday, we were back at his vet because it looked worse, only to learn we couldn’t save his eye. Long story short, he had surgery on Thursday to remove his eye. I noticed something wasn’t right and the eye was bleeding. I took him to the vet where he’s gonna have to have another surgery on Monday that I financially cannot afford.

If you know me, you know I love my animals like they’re my children, and this is breaking my heart. I hate to ask for help, but unfortunately, I am left with no choice. I just wanna do what’s right by Gilbert. If you can help, it is greatly appreciated. If not, please say a prayer. Thank you.
