Dear Family & Friends,

On December 20th 2024, Gilbert Magera Noru left us to be with the Lord, following a month-long hospitalization for acute worsening of his chronic illness.

He was initially admitted to Nairobi Hospital ICU on November 18th when his condition deteriorated during a regular dialysis session. He was stabilized but continued to require ICU-level treatment and remained there for thirty-three days, until the time of his passing.

We thank you for your continued care and support during his hospitalization. We are also thankful to the medical team that helped care for him.

Justifiably, the hospital charges to cover his medical care at this level for this length of time was astronomical and accumulated to Kshs 10.65M, for which the immediate family has managed to pay 60% of the total amount. We humbly request for any financial assistance with the hospital bill, to help cover the remaining balance as well as meet the funeral expenses.
