Gilbert was a remarkable human being that centered his whole existence around making others feel comfort and joy. He was always the guy that tucked in his fears and sorrows , and steady searched for others that needed to be lifted . Whether it was a warm , delicious meal, or a novelty gift that he knew you would love . Whether your tire was flat , or your car was over heating ; no matter if he had a dollar to his name , and he saw you struggling ... his last minute , his last dime , his last nerve haha, if he had it to give , it was allllllll yours . No questions asked. Gilbert , mostly known as Tito , was a natural giver. A giver of knowledge as well ! Tito was so smart about so many different things ! He was a total Magiver and could craft anything you needed out of any tid bits that were around haha. And he was always so anxious to show you the easiest ways to approach the hardest tasks in life. Losing him , is like losing a library.
Tito’s main thrill in life was to be a father to his9 children . He was extremely proud of each and every one of them. He bragged about everylittle thing they did in life. And in his older, softer years, we came to find that he was an even better grand parent . He lived to see his grand babies play and smile ! But his empathy for children didn’t just extend to his own offspring , but to ANY child in his presence. He would move mountains to see any child experience joy.
Tito’s legacy was his ability to make you feel loved and included . He never wanted anyone to feel left out and he went to great lengths to make everyone he knew, feel his warmth and security. We will surely miss him and pray that he will continue to guide and comfort us in spirit . We thank you all for adoring our father the way we did ! It’s been a blessing to see how many families and friendships he impacted ! In Gods name , Amen
