Gilbert Duran Jr Funeral Services

We are heartbroken to be brought here, Gilbert’s passing is not something we ever expected to happen , especially at the young age of 31 he was tragically taken from us on Sunday June 25, 2023 . That night till the early mornings of the next day is something that will forever be engraved in our memory. It hurts so much cause Gilbert didn’t have a easy life , he was diagnosed as an infant with brittle bone disease(don’t know the correct term) he couldn’t walk or stand for a lot of his childhood. He was that cousin in the wheelchair , but guarantee that wouldn’t stop him . He was always there with us playing and trying his best to keep up . Man we sure didn’t cut him some slack haha but he knew we loved him. As he got older the cold world also didn’t cut him some slack , times were hard . He fell bad into his problems and ended up homeless for some time . But ask anybody who knew him , he was still happy ! Always smiling and hyping others up around him . Man his heart was pure . Soon he found god and turned his life over . He recovered and was baptized. He was proud of himself for once he was happy not only for others but for himself at last. He got a job that he kept up with even tho his body was in pain . He didn’t want to live a life off his disability . Everyday we saw him grow and grow more as a man , he was happy . But sadly he only got to enjoy that for just the moment . We as family want to give Gilbert a beautiful service, he deserves it . I’m asking all friends and relatives to please donate, anything helps and we would greatly appreciate . I’m lost for words cause ask anybody about Gilbert and they will tell you that he didn’t deserve this tragic accident , thank you for taking the time
