It’s unbelievable that I’m even having to write this out. Our father was an incredible human being. The best man anyone could have the honor of knowing. He could go into any place, not knowing anyone, and walk away having made new friends. He has suffered a really bad stroke and unfortunately the damage to his brain is so severe that his quality of life if he was to come out of it would not be what our dad would want.

Our dad is someone who cared for everyone. Everyone he loved was so important to him and he made sure to show that to each individual person. Our family is still in shock and trying to mentally process this all. During this time, we really use some help while we try and figure out funeral costs and the medical part of it all.

We love you dad. You were the best father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend.

We only wish you could’ve had more time.
