Gil Carranza's Funeral Funding!

Hi,

My name is Angel Carranza, and my father, Gil Carranza, passed away on February 16th, 2022. He passed away while he was in the hospital fighting covid 19, where he suffered a stroke that proved too much for him to recover from. He was a loving, caring, and fantastic person. He was a Spanish teacher for a lot longer than I've been alive, and he impacted so many of his students in ways that I could have never imagined. The number of stories from his past students, co-workers, family, and friends is all very touching, and they indeed show how much people cherished and loved him. The primary purpose of this go-fund-me is for me and my mother, Tracy Carranza, to give him the funeral he deserves. It seems only fitting with the number of people he impacted in his life and career. However, funerals prove very costly, and anything you can do to help would be appreciated! So I set this goal to 7,000 but indeed, anything would be appreciated; even if you choose not to donate, just thinking of him would put a smile on his face!
