Every time GI Hope raises $5000, we are able to expand programs to different locations and assist the female veterans in that area. We have had success running a small program and are seeking support to expand and meet the needs of the entire veteran community in the following ways:
-Broaden our collaborative network and hire more veterans (the vet to vet model is most effective as it relates to the case management component of our programs)
-Lease a space to accommodate the female veteran clients served by Veteran Service Providers we've built relationships with
-Address the need to increase job retention and alleviate chronic homelessness by offering resources such as job training, child care, and permanent housing
-Offer wellness retreats to treat mental and emotional health (being stable in these areas are essential to successful military transition)

Our program provides military transition assistance conducted by a team of professionals led by Sandra Sykes, 3 time Epic Award winner from the Department of Labor with accommodations from Congress and the Senate.
Coming from military families, we, as founders, understood the struggles so many veterans face when they return home. Helping women and children was always something we felt very passionate about. After doing research and finding very few resources for female veterans, GI Hope was created. Its mission is to support veterans and military families by providing a comprehensive source of intensive resources and services focused on maximizing their strengths and future potential; specializing in gender specific programs that are both age and culturally appropriate. GI Hope's philosophy is to support and assist military families because that is what they deserve.
