Gígur and I have qualified for the World Championship again this year. We opted out in 2023 because I wanted to build a better connection with him, which I feel like I have now achieved with the help of our team trainer Olil Amble and my husband Will. We are feeling fit and strong to make the long trip to Switzerland and represent the USIHC on the international stage.

I’m very excited to represent the US again at the World Championships and especially riding again in Switzerland. I rode my gelding Dynjandi there in 2009 to a silver and bronze medal and it was the most amazing experience. Last year I was on top of FEIF’s Good and Harmonious Riding list and currently have the most nominations worldwide this year. I hope to continue that riding and proudly represent the USIHC in August.
