Gigi's Journey to Healing

Hey there, so this is the only female goat at our sanctuary. Her name is Gigi and she, four days ago overnight, tried to jump over a fence and got her leg caught up in an electrical hot wire line. It was the bottom wire, but she wrapped it around her leg so tightly she cut off the circulation and was stuck there for an entire night. The leg is basically dead. The hair is starting to fall out. I've had a very, very difficult time trying to find a vet that would be willing to do this surgery. Basically, she needs to have her leg amputated and I have networked and found somebody that's gonna help me build her a 3-D printed wheelchair and even a prosthetic leg. The goat is gonna be taken to a place called Spring Hill Equine Veterinary in Newberry, Florida. 3524721620. She is scheduled for a 3 o'clock appointment to be evaluated today.
