Hello, and thank you for your time and interest! In reading, I hope I am able to accurately display the urgency and importance for this fundraiser. Our mother, GiGi, daughter, and friend has suffered the unexpected circumstance of a heart attack during the recent 4th of July holiday. Her strength during this time of research and discovery has been unmatched. The previous care received resulted in the search for a second opinion. At this time, she has been relocated to The Cleveland Heart Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. During the assessments here, it has been confirmed that she will have to have an open heart surgery. Lisa Linder, a kind and positive soul coming from Emporia, Virginia, has been a beam of light for all of the individuals she assists and who she interacts with in society. From persistent community outreach through music, to her ability to transport the children of our school system safely, she has been a cornerstone for her family, the community, and friends along the way. We are here today to ask for a monetary donation of any amount that you are willing to contribute to have have her family and loved ones provide in-person support during this difficult time and surgical procedure.
