Our sweet 7 year old English Springer Spaniel Giggsy has had a rough time the last few weeks. He had walking pneumonia and now has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and a torn ACL. He's got meds to help, but he will need equipment to assist in keeping him off his leg, such as a brace and a ramp, for 6 weeks of crate rest. He also needs laser treatments and injections to promote healing. After he's healed the knee, he will still be receiving treatment for his heart, for which he'll need follow-up labs and x-rays. Any amount will help.

Now our cat Winston is also having problems. He stopped eating and we've been having to force feed him baby food in a syringe. No one's enjoying this. He's going to be getting more meds to try to increase his appetite. He has a UTI. He's also older than we thought, so he has more chronic problems as a result. His kidneys aren't great, eyes aren't great. But we need to get him eating again. Hopefully meds will work soon.
