On May 23rd life turned upside down for our dear friend, Christine, and her family. Christine suffered a traumatic medical emergency while away from home with her daughter and 8-month old granddaughter. Her incredibly strong, courageous daughter administered life saving measures and Christine was air lifted to Buffalo General Hospital. Now, three weeks later, she remains in ICU. Family and friends are grateful for the improvements she has made. We are reminded daily that, “slow and steady wins the race.” And every race comes with hurdles to jump along the way. Christine has a long recovery ahead of her. Your prayers are so appreciated!
Most of us would say that Buffalo really isn’t that far. But for Christine’s family, it’s a world away. Expenses of travel, accommodations, food, and the astronomical cost of gas add up quickly. Furthermore, Christine is obviously not working and therefore without income. Nowadays more than ever, it is impossible to maintain a household and personal expenses without income. Our giving would be a huge help in maintaining Christine’s home, which is shared with her daughter and baby granddaughter, insurance, and a plethora of medical expenses.
Would you consider a sacrifice to support this family? Christine has a heart of gold. She is a caregiver! She has a kind, loving, and gentle spirit. Everything she does is for others and never for herself. She needs our help and deserves our help. Any amount would be so helpful and appreciated more than you will ever know. If you are unable to give, you can still help! You can help by sharing this page with others who can give. And you can, please, PRAY!
Thank you in advance and may God bless you deeply! As the great and influential Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
Gratefully yours,
Amy & Jeff Fisher
