We've been feeling a bit under water ever since we found out our beautiful boy, Logan, has fibrosacorma, a malignant tissue tumor above his upper left k-9. We've gone to several doctors trying to get as much information and hoping that one can tell us they got it wrong, it's not malignant. Or someone to tell us about a magical cure. We went to animal healers hoping that we can energetically make it go away. Sadly, he still has it, and there is no cure. There are only treatments. From surgery, chemo to radiation. We wish we could do it all. But we don't have thousands of dollars and we don't want to do anything invasive. Logan has gone through a lot. Before we rescued him, he spent his first couple of years abused by his owner, abandoned and found in a shelter where they labeled him as vicious. He's far from that! He's the sweetest boy! We've worked so hard to give him the best life a husky can have. Never did we think, this could happen to him, but here we are. And we can't give up on him.

 

After much consideration of the various treatments we selected to do palliative radiation. A treatment to help the tumor shrink or at least slow the growth of it to extend Logan's quality of life. We don't know how much time he has. Doctors can only speculate based on statistics. We've heard three-six months. (It's already been three months since we found out.) A year or more for a small percentage of patients. We believe Logan can have more. We have hope!

 

As much as I hate to do this... I really do hate asking for money. But I thought to myself, I've done it for my films, why not Logan. His life is my favorite movie! We're not asking for all of it. The cost of this treatment is roughly $7k. We're only looking to raise half of it to help us out, since this is all happening very quickly.
