GIFT THE GIVERS. Help those who help others!

This campaign is for friends of ours in Ft. Meyers who have recently suffered financially devastating losses from hurricane Ian. They are two of the most giving, generous, kind, and loving people I've ever met! And now they need our assistance!

Their generous hearts inspired them to become professional fundraising consultants licensed by the state of Florida. Their goal is to come alongside non profits and other groups that exemplify the Gift What You Need Spirit.

THEIR MISSION: “We believe in a hand-up, not a hand-out” approach and we facilitate this mission through our unique outreach fundraising program for non-profits.

Emily and Jeffrey are genuine leaders and givers everyday of their lives! And it's incredible to see them exemplifying true leadership and faith in this extremely sad time. Their spirits are lifted and grounded in gratitude for their health and safety despite having lost their entire home and new car to mud and water. Even with their faith and love, their home will be condemned in the coming weeks due to the inevitable mold that will follow a disaster of this magnitude. They have already been hit with the devastating news that their homeowners insurance will not cover damages, because it was water surge damage vs storm damage.

Their incredible love story is intertwined with Jeffrey's life-threatening health battles, in which he has defied the odds. Through it all Jeffrey and Emily continued to thrive and serve others. This particular home was a start-over investment that they intended to leverage as they regained the financial success that they had previously enjoyed. Now it is gone, along with their new car, which was also engulfed in mud and water.

They are currently staying nearby Ft. Meyers and finding a place to stay each night, either with friends or by searching for hotels or other available accommodations. They have no electricity and the water in that area isn't drinkable, and won’t be for weeks to come. So it's a major challenge both now and in the future, as it is for others who are suffering from this devastation. Let's all give to them so that their mission and path of service to others is not affected by this enormous financial loss.

Incredibly, they have devoted their entire lives to SERVING, and I saw it in action and firsthand last year when I was faced with a challenge and they were all in to give me their time and love for whatever we needed! They really exemplify TRUE GIVERS.

Yesterday, we made contact with them following the storm and were looking for a way to help them. I asked if I could create this campaign for them, and they were hesitant at first.

It is so critically important to give to others whenever possible, because you never know what will happen in life. AND then we had a breakthrough moment, and the most incredible realization… sometimes you need to be humble, and willing to receive from others who are willing to love and support you. People like them are the ones who never see themselves in this situation and simply give without expecting anything in return.

So, please join me in demonstrating to them the incredible love they give to the world, by giving to help them now in this time of their need.
