I'm a single mom of four, raising a grandchild as well, and I'm facing a serious health challenge: end-stage kidney renal failure. It's been a tough battle, with daily dialysis and frequent hospital visits on top of everything else. Despite the difficulties, I'm determined to keep fighting – for myself and for my family.

The good news is, I'm a strong candidate for a kidney transplant! My age (40) and my commitment to following doctor's orders have put me in a good position. However, there's a financial hurdle to overcome.

To be actively placed on the transplant list, I need to raise $20,000. This will demonstrate my ability to cover living expenses for the crucial 3 months following surgery. Unfortunately, my illness has drained my resources.

I'm a fighter. I'm working full-time while managing my health, providing care for dementia individuals at Rakhma Homes. I'm also applying for all available financial assistance. But, I can't do it alone.

This GoFundMe is my plea for help. Any amount you can contribute will bring me closer to the life-saving transplant I desperately need. The surgery and recovery will be a journey, but I'm ready to start it.
