I would like to thank, from the bottom of my heart, everyone who is contributing to the "life fund for Mariagela". We still have a long way to reach our goal, but every bit counts.

My name is Maurizia and I am collecting funds for my very dear friend Mariangela. Here is her story.

My very dear Italian friend, who has been by my side since my dog rescue mission began, has kindly advised me to start a "GoFundMe " as well as "GiveSendGo" fundraisers to help with expenses for my care against the biggest battle of my life-cancer!

I was never in the habit of asking anyone for monetary help, but seeing as my medical expenses are piling up, I have come to realize that if I want to get the best care so I may beat this dreadful disease, I 'll have to put my pride down and do just that- ask for help.

Unfortunately, this is not my first rodeo. It is indeed the second time that my health has taken a turn for the worst. Since 2020, I had to endure heightened level of stress to a point of a complete physical breakdown.

During my first illness, I was already caring for many rescued dogs through my rescue organization, Cuteodyssey.org. although it was very difficult, given my health situation, no matter, I continued to care for these precious dogs then and I am continuing to do so now. I simply refuse to let my illness deter me from doing so!

With much Will and determination, I was able to heal from my illness and I am confident I can beat this new one. I have much to live for- my dogs need me!

If I receive the appropriate care needed, in conjunction with the long lasting changes that will surely ensue, I know I can get back on track.

In order for me to beat this cancer, I humbly turn to you and ask for your help. Any contribution to this fund will go to help pay for my medical expenses.
