September 5th is Malin Wagnon’s birthday and I’m hoping his friends and music community could spare a couple bucks to go towards repairing his guitar (in the best circumstance) or go towards replacing it. As you may have seen, his SG was hanging from a guitar hook at The Southern where he was playing Sunday. He’s hung his guitars from that hook countless times, but somehow it fell off and snapped the headstock off. Malin rarely puts down a significant amount of money towards instruments and gear. Typically, he’s always trading and finagling on an endless pursuit of finding the perfect gear for the lowest possible price, but he did with this SG and hasn’t had it too terribly long, so this is just super upsetting to him obviously.

He would never do this for himself. If you know him, you know he wouldn’t, but me on the other hand… that’s a different story. There’s no shame in my game! I’d like to keep this between you and me. He’s really not on social media much these days anyway, so chances are he won’t see it, but just in case…
