You can give the gift of music!

One of the goals of our music program is to provide "Music for All," and "Music for Life." In our middle school general music classes, this is done by teaching students the basics on keyboards and ukuleles over 1 to 3 years. For most of these students, it's their first experience playing music on their own. After learning basic technique and music reading, they also learn about resources they can use to keep playing throughout their lifetime.

This is where your gift can make a difference for those students who show a great interest in continuing to play the keyboard and ukulele. This fund will help provide keyboards and ukuleles for students who want to continue to make music but don't have the means to purchase their own. They will be gifted with instruments similar to what we use in class, which are sturdy, economical, and have great sound. The cost is approximately $150 (keyboard) and $75 (ukulele). You can give a donation to pay for the entire cost of an instrument or any amount you can afford.

Many times, these students struggle academically, behaviorally, and emotionally. The excitement and pride they have when they realize they can play songs they know is magical to watch. Please consider helping them develop this lifetime love of music!
