Fundraiser for Ollie Olsen and his ongoing medical expenses and long-term care

Hi, I'm broadcaster Jane Gazzo and I am fundraising on behalf of Australian musical pioneer and legend Ollie Olsen, who this year (2022) was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy - a rare, terminal disease similar to Parkinson's.

With the blessing of Ollie's wonderful partner and full-time carer Jayne, we are hoping to raise funds to help Ollie and Jayne cover ongoing, frequent, weekly medical expenses as Ollie has to pay for treatment that is not covered by Medicare. He has lost mobility and requires daily care.

We want to let Ollie know how loved and valued he is and that his lifelong musical contributions since the mid 70s from avant-garde and cutting edge bands The Young Charlatans (with Roland S Howard), Whirlywirld, No, Orchestra of Skin and Bone, Hugo Klang, to the brilliant Max Q with Michael Hutchence, Taipan Tiger Girls, Psy Harmonics record label and so many more projects have meant something to friends and fans alike.
