Gift Cards for LA Fire Relief

I live in Brentwood and have, fortunately, not had to evacuate my home during these fires. I, like most in LA, know of someone who has been affected by these fires, if not directly affected themselves. As I looked to contribute back to my community, I realized that a lot of centers are overflowing with donations, to the point where they have had to stop accepting donations. Many places have more than enough volunteers. So, instead, I thought I could try to collect money to buy gift cards to distribute. What I wish to do is buy Target or Visa gift cards and place them in cards with a loving message then bring them to @walkgoodla to distribute with their care packages. With gift cards, fire victims can buy whatever other things they may need. It can also return a little more sense of control back over their lives, which have been completely upended. I love my city & I am so proud of our community pouring into each other. LA is full of beautiful, resilient people & will rebuild. Let's lift each other in every way we can as we do that :)
