A small-town church has been blessed with over 5000 members!
The Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus (EEMY) Central Synod Gida Ayana congregation is located in Gida Ayana, one of the towns in East Welega Zone, and is bordered on the south by Guto Gida, on the west by Limmu, on the northwest by Ibantu, on the east by Horo Gudru Welega Zone, and on the north by the Blue Nile river. Gida Ayana congregation plays an essential role in preaching and proclaiming the good news of God's kingdom in towns and villages.
We are raising funds for new construction, as our church is only able to accommodate a maximum of 1,000 people. With a congregation of 5,000, there is a great need for a larger church for the Gida Ayana congregation, where men, women, boys, and girls can worship and fellowship together.
