Hi, my name is Darra Miller, my aunt, uncle, cousin and her son have lost everything in the South Fork fire in Ruidoso, NM on 6/17/24. I know that everyone else around us are affected or have friends and/or family affected as well, but we are trying to get some money together so that they are able to get some clothes, pay for medicines, bare necessities, etc until their insurance money comes through. They HAVE gone to churches and such and received some items which they are very, very grateful for. However, it's hard to come by certain sizes needed, undergarments, etc. the $5000 isn't necessarily what is needed immediately, I just wasn't even sure of what to put in. They are currently staying with my mom, which is absolutely fine, but of course, she is on a fixed income herself so we cannot purchase everything needed. We do appreciate anything and everything and we are thinking of EVERYONE affected and impacted by this catastrophe.
