Short Story: Gianni Is a 8 month old baby, He’s not able to crawl, feed himself or sit up on his own: due to his medical condition (HIE)

His mother is requesting help with his Medical bills, unique formula and any future surgeries. His long-term health concern is "cerebral palsy and seizures. I am a single mother raising two boys and I’m not able to work due to Gianni needing his mother full time.

My name is Jonah. I am Gianni's mother. My son Gianni was hospitalized from October 23rd, 2022, until the second week of November at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born on September 1st, 2022.

Gianni suffered from RSV that turned into Rhinovirus, which he contracted from his 1-year-old brother Sonni after he attended daycare.

I found Gianni on the morning of October 23rd very. Lethargic, he was rushed to the hospital in the ambulance. Two hours later, he stopped breathing due to insufficient oxygen getting to his brain (HIE) HYPOXIC-ISCHEMIC ENCEPHALOPATHY. Gianni now suffers from HIE, and infantile spasms, takes narcotic medication, and needs consistent repositioning for his spasticity and increased muscle tone.

This is a heavy emotional moment, We have ever gone through with very little support, and my pride is so immense it took me this long to share our story. I have been trying to keep everything together for Gianni and His 1-year-old brother Sonni. Due to Gianni's health concerns, I am a stay-at-home mom, and our savings are getting low due to all the bills and expenses.

The funds will be used for Gianni's medical bills, daily medical needs, unique formula and care, and future surgeries. His long-term health concern is "cerebral palsy and seizures," due to his age, his care team can't diagnose him medically.

However, we are looking forward to many more days with Gianni.
