Gia Bunny Education Fund

Donation protected
Jean lost her fight with Leukemia on January 15. Anyone who knew Jean, knew that her children and her grandchildren were her whole life. This campaign will raise money for Parker, Jameson, and any future bunnies (grandchildren). The funds will be transferred into the kids' CHET (Connecticut Higher Education Trust) to help make sure that Gia's bunnies get to follow their dreams, wherever that may take them.

Friend. Mom. Girlfriend. Cousin. Aunt . . . these are some of the titles Jean went by, but the most important one is Gia. Jean was affectionately named Gia by her granddaughter Parker Jean. Until June of 2016, Gia’s daily battles would include which Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode to watch for the 5th time, mixed PlayDoh colors, fruit snacks being considered a meal, and whether or not your fish can eat the whole container of food in one serving, these would seem trivial to most, but not to her best friend Parker. On June 26th Gia found out that she would begin the toughest battle of her life. Gia was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. In the words of a three-year-old – Gia has bad blood because of “leuteemia”.

Jean passed peacefully on January 15 at Norwalk Hospital, surrounded by loved ones. As perfectly phrased by Parker, Gia’s going to be my special angel star.
