We are Josh and Shari, 

we are waiting on disability to be approved, for 3 years. Josh had his second open heart Surgery, an AVR,  on 1/30. I have no PTO-therefore no paycheck. We are looking into programs that will help cover premiums for our health insurance, and the hospital has a charity program they have always offered, food banks, waiting to hear about food stamps. However, prescriptions need to be filled, the dog needs to be fed, gas to get us to daily appointments,our storage unit- with all the things that can’t be replaced, companion care for when I can return to work so he’s not alone to fend for himself, and some groceries from time to time- There are several other things but after all this time at the hospital- my brains a bit mush- this surgery has us both struggling mentally- so much more so than his last open heart surgery in 2022. We just need some help- if you could share- that would also be incredible- if you are struggling financially we get it- don’t be like me and feel guilty for not being able to help…and send something you can’t afford.
