Help us please

Hi my name is Donna, my husband Jim had a stroke Oct 2023. He's been out of work since. He's used all his sick/vacation time. So he's got no income coming in. We tried to file for temporary disability with social security and they basically said he's got to be out of work for a year before he starts getting disability. My pay only pays electric, insurance, food, gas all his prescriptions. I need the $ 1500. For my mortgage payments. I am hoping and praying that he's going to get better. But his progress is slow. If you can help us it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
