Hi everyone <3 My name is Lauren, but most of you know me simply as Mama Catz. I'm a self-employed single mom, and I work hard every day to bring beautiful pieces of art to life! I've had my financial ups and downs in the 9 years I've been pursuing my dream, but this is the first time I've had this difficult a time making ends meet. I hate asking for help because I stubbornly believe I should be able to do this all on my own, and it feels weird to accept money without having made or sold something in return. My situation has left me in a tight spot, however, and I feel like I'm running out of options.

I am currently behind on payments and owe late rent + late fees on my lot for the months of July and August. I live in a quaint little mobile home and pay to rent the lot it sits on. I've been able to keep up with payments up until now, but I've made so few sales this summer that I've had to prioritize what to spend my limited funds on (priorities have been food for myself, my kiddo, and our two dogs, plus utilities). I am working with the park managers to come up with an agreement regarding paying my fees, but I'm worried about my housing situation and what will happen if I am unable to come up with what I owe.

This GoFundMe has been set with a goal amount of $2,000. This will help me to cover rent from July and August, the late fees on my account, my late utility bill from the end of July, and will also help pull my bank account out of the negative (currently it is -$313 overdrawn thanks to some automatic payments I was unable to cancel). I have been selling personal items and have cut out every unnecessary expense. I have canceled my car insurance, and I am trying to sell my sewing machine and one of my 3D printers, but so far I haven't had luck in doing so.
