GHS Senior Survivor- Aubrey Vernon & Jay K

Hey everyone! Jay Kleinheksel and I are raising money for Grandville High School and South Elementary’s Student Assistance Fund. All money raised will go towards our GHS and South Elementary’s Student Assistance Fund, which helps families in need throughout our community. These funds are used to buy winter coats and gloves, restock items in the food pantry, help pay for needed items in a home, purchase school supplies or backpacks, or provide opportunities to fund unique educational experiences for students throughout the year. This is a cause that can greatly benefit those right here in our own Grandville community and make a positive impact for a child or family in need.

I play water polo and I swim at GHS, as well as club water polo during the off season. If you can’t find me on the pool deck, I’m probably spending time with family or friends. I’m also a member of GHS Senior Executive Board, NHS, WALC, Kids Food Basket Club, and Be Nice. I have two kitties, LC and DC, whom I will miss so much during Senior Survivor week. I think my biggest advantage in this competition will be that I’ve grown up watching so much Survivor with my mom! 16 Seniors, including myself, are competing to see who can raise the most amount of money to be the ULTIMATE SENIOR SURVIVOR through many different challenges and fundraising.
