GhostFundMeat-Send Dave Laird to Netrunner Worlds

Hello friends and Netrunners from across the globe!

If you're reading this, then you probably know our good pal Dave Laird (aka Ghost Meat), which means you also probably know that Dave is one of the best Netrunner players on the planet, and we want to make sure he gets a chance to prove it at the 2023 Netrunner World Championships held in Barcelona, Spain this October.

For years Dave has been one of the most active and passionate members of wider Netrunner community, and is single-handedly the reason that Netrunner continues to be played in his home meta of Victoria, BC.

Across his storied Netrunner career, Dave has earned a number of impressive finishes at major tournaments, including making the cut at Worlds, and most recently climbing the lower bracket to take 1st Place at Western US Nationals - and I, for one, believe he can ride that momentum all the way to this year's World Champion title.

Aside from being a great player, Dave is an active ambassador for the game. A teacher by profession, he runs gaming meetups for students, and has introduced more than one young mind to Netrunner, doing his part to ensure that this game lives on long after we've all jacked out.

When he's not stealing your agendas, or teaching the next generation how to flatline a runner, Dave is a loving husband and proud father of two young children - which is to say, life is expensive.

Times are hard for most of us right now, and especially for folks with young and growing families. But let's not let little things like global economic crises keep Dave from the shot at the Championship that he deserves.

So if you can spare a few dollars toward the expenses of Dave's travel/accommodation/etc. for this year's Worlds, all of us here in Victoria would be eternally grateful for your help in sending our hometown hero to Barcelona.
