Hello, I hope you're doing well. I am TEA II Woodley of MSTE-6 and I am starting this fundraiser for reasons as follows.

On Sunday, April 06, 2025, our coworker and colleague TEA II Middlebrooks of MSTE-6 was involved in an incident where he felt that it was necessary for him to defend himself.

A motorist allegedly threw food on him and spit on him after being simply asked to move the vehicle that was in violation. Agent Middlebrooks defended himself as most of us would, with the limited tools that are available to us.

Traffic Agents are often faced with dilemmas we are not equipped to handle in the field and must do our best to navigate those situations. That being said, the Department saw fit to suspend Agent Middlebrooks. I'm asking anyone who is able to please consider donating to help him with financial hardships he might face attributable to his suspension.

I've patrolled with Middlebrooks many times (he'll probably hate that I'm about to say this), but he's the gentle giant of Traffic, and if he felt the need to use force, then I'll 100% believe that he was left no choice.

I'd like to emphasize this could happen to any one of us. It's important we back each other, 'cause no one else will.
