A Good Man Was Brutally Assaulted by The Police

On Monday, July 20, 2020; Allen Exeter - a 52-year-old, lifelong resident of Scranton, who has NEVER been in any trouble with the law - was brutally assaulted by Scranton Police Officers in front of his friends and family at his sister's restaurant, the historic, "JoJo's at the Donkey", while he was waiting to help his sister design the new COVID-19-friendly menu. Allen Exeter is disabled and already had serious health issues before this assault on him. The Scranton Police Officers involved entered the bar, on Monday, July 20, 2020, purportedly, in order to go to the basement to check a circuit breaker. Allen Exeter could not "get out of the way" fast enough for the officers, as he was brutally assaulted and arrested. ALLEN HAS ONE WHOLE FOOT. Allen is diabetic, does not have a whole functioning heart, and was awaiting a date to receive a pacemaker and a defibrillator when this assault took place. Allen was assaulted and one of the officers involved stood on his chest while Allen was on the floor. After he was assaulted, Allen was charged with committing a crime and arrested. In an instant, Allen's life, and the life of all of his friends, family, and community has been changed forever. Right now, Allen is under arrest and remains in the hospital waiting to be arraigned for the false charges that were issued in order to justify the assault on him.
Allen is disabled and lives on a fixed income. Now, in addition to his underlying health issues, he has to also overcome massive and huge lawyer fees to defend himself against charges, as well as the medical bills which he and his family will now be paying for the rest of his life. 
Please help as much as you can to mitigate this injustice and help a good man and his family get his life back. We need immediate financial assistance to pay for medical bills and equipment (walker, treatment, medications, etc.) so that Allen and his family can survive this ordeal.
