My name is Souad and I live in France, I'm launching this campaign on the behalf of Ismail Hamdan.

"My name is Ismail Hamdan and I am a Palestinian from Gaza.

Since the beginning of the war, we have been living in a state of death, fear, displacement, and hunger. In the early days, our house in the neighborhood was hit by a massive bombing.

By the grace of God and a miracle, we managed to escape from under the rubble with minor injuries. But our ordeal didn't end there. Shortly after, my relatives' house was bombed, resulting in a horrific massacre against my family.

We lost 22 loved ones, including my only sister, who was a memorizer of the Holy Quran. We were left homeless, without money, wandering the streets. Despite all these hardships, we thank God for everything.

I am now in desperate need of your help. I kindly ask you to donate to help me provide a dignified life for the remaining members of my family and ensure their safety.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our lives.

Breakdown of costs

In order to facilitate my family's evacuation to Egypt, I'm setting up a GoFundMe campaign to raise € 61,400. Here is the breakdown of the funds:

• It is estimated that €7,000 will be sufficient to cover the basic needs of my family in Egypt, including their accommodation, food, and other essentials for 6 months

• A total of €52,500

Has to be allocated to cover the expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza, as well as crossing fees at Rafah, at the Egypt-Gaza border. This amount breaks down to €7,500 per person for my family (7 people).

. A total of € 1,901 will be used to cover GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% plus $0.30 per donation).
