Hi all.

My name is Ashley and I am trying to help out my best friend Rose and her family.

They recently fell on hard times and times got even tougher today when her youngest, Max, was diagnosed with blood cancer. Max is 4 months old and has what we like to call “birth assets.” He has polydactyly and a condition where his oxygen dips low.

On Tuesday, Max was taken to the ER with shallow breathing and diagnosed with pneumonia and was on oxygen all day. Through further testing, they discovered his white blood cell count was 51,000 and was diagnosed with blood cancer. They are currently in the ICU until they can be transferred 2 hours from their home in Kentucky to St Jude’s in Tennessee. In the meantime, her husband is back in Kentucky with the other 3 children, all 4 and under.

While expenses aren’t known at this point in time, I am asking for help on their behalf to cover any needs or necessities or funds to replace missed shifts. This has happened so quickly that not everything is figured out yet. While St Jude’s is known to help families with bills, Rose’s expenses for herself are not known at this time. I will post updates when available.
