Yesterday, the island of São Vicente, Cape Verde, was devastated by a powerful thunderstorm that tore through our city, flooding homes and displacing countless families. Many have been left without food, clothing, or even a safe place to sleep.

On behalf of the Golden Hours Crew, we are reaching out to our extended community — near and far — to come together in this urgent time of need.

We are collecting donations to purchase and distribute essential items, including:

• Food and water

• Clothing and shoes

• Bed linens and towels

• Basic hygiene products and other everyday necessities
