- More information about Cross Cause Ltd: Our mission is to support the most marginalized in society, helping them live their best possible lives and reach their potential. Crosscause began in 1998 with volunteers aiding special needs orphans in Romania. With our gained experience, we've expanded into Eastern Europe and West Africa. Our latest initiative, the Xorladi Project in Ghana, provides a home for abandoned children. We've already rescued 42 children, half of which have special needs, and planning to reach full capacity of 55children next year.
