Hey everyone!  I need your help!!

One of the greatest passions of my life is helping people who can't help themselves.  People who don't even have the basics.  I feel for people like this at a very deep level as I think most, or I hope all of us do. 

I have been given the opportunity to go on a short mission trip to Ghana, Africa.  My church, The Church at Rancho Bernardo, has been helping to put a fresh water well down there in one of the remote villages where the people have been dying from water sources like the one pictured.  We will be providing medical support and working with the orphanage down there as well.  So many little ones who've lost their parents, it's hard to even fathom and it truly breaks my heart.   I can't tell you how strongly I feel about this.  Kindness and generosity are something we can all give and if we did, the world would be so much better, so I have decided to do this.

The team I am with is very small and I need sponsors to help me raise funds to get there and do this work.  I am not accustomed to doing this kind of thing, and this is uncomfortable for me, but I realize I can't do it alone.  The trip is from July 19 to 28 and will be very challenging, but I am up for it.

If you could please prayerfully consider giving me a hand, I would truly be grateful and you would have a part in making the lives of others better.  If you could put this out there and share it, that would be great too.
