I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but my sister Felicia needs our help, and I can’t sit by and watch her go through this alone.

Felicia has always been one of the strongest, most hard-working people I know. For more than 5 years, she gave her heart and soul to her job helping children and families. But a while ago, she was laid off, and since then, life has been incredibly hard for her. She’s been doing everything she can to find steady work, but with the way things are right now, it’s been such a struggle.

She’s fallen behind on her rent and is now at risk of losing her home. The thought of my sister losing the roof over her head breaks my heart. I know she doesn’t want to ask for help because she’s so used to carrying everything on her shoulders. That’s why I’m asking on her behalf.

Any money raised will go directly toward paying the back rent to stop the eviction and covering her most basic needs: food, utilities, and transportation.
