Will's toy drive
Donation protected
Last year Will's teacher challenged him to do a good deed for the holiday season. She gave him $5. He immediately came home and asked if there was a way he could get others to match it so he could give more. I told him I'd start a GoFundMe campaign. The response and support was more than we ever could have expected. He raised nearly $300 in a just few weeks. I was so proud of him for wanting to give to those less fortunate.Along with his brothers, we set out to shop for toys. It warmed my heart to see all three of them pick out toys that they knew weren't for them. Even girl toys!
This year GoFundMe selected him to be featured as a Kid Hero so he has decided to try to beat last year's amount of $300. He's asking for any amount large or small so that he can bring joy to a child who may not get anything under the tree this Christmas. Thank you to all who supported him last year and to those who want to contribute this year.
