Critical Help Needed for Mohamed's Family in Gaza

I reach out to you on behalf of my friend Mohamed, who is facing dire circumstances back home in Gaza. Their lifelong cherished home was recently demolished, leaving them with nothing but a few clothes to their name. Currently, more than 12 people, including four children and a newborn baby, are crammed into a tent, struggling to make ends meet. There is no work available, and they have received little to no assistance.

The situation is incredibly challenging, especially considering that Mohamed's father is in poor health, with a condition so severe that it's almost akin to blindness. The burden of caring for the family falls heavily on Mohamed's shoulders, and he feels helpless being in Egypt, unable to provide the support his loved ones desperately need.

The trauma of a parent being unable to care and provide for their child is profound. Mohamed's father, once the pillar of the family, now finds himself unable to fulfill his role due to his deteriorating health. This sense of helplessness weighs heavily on him, knowing that his family is relying on him for their survival. They count on the kindness of strangers, like you, to alleviate their suffering and navigate through this hardship.
